I came here with my wife during restaurant week and we loved all the food and drinks we tried. A lot was amazing but what stood out the very most was the Pintxos Morunos lamb skewers. It is up there and may even exceed Jaleo. I will see when I try Jaleo again on Saturday. Our server was wonderful too and the ambiance is also amazing. Looking forward to coming back here or their Penn Quarter location.

Currently, this restaurant is my oldest daughter's favorite in Washington DC. Our party of five decided to go with the $29 per person Bunch Feast. We got to pick five tapa plates plus churro for desert. We also added a mussels plate to our order. The kitchen made sure there were enough on each tapa selection for five people and there were. The foods were absolutely delicious. Table service was attentive but not intrusive. Our waitress was so friendly and considerate. The only negative was no Bloody Mary available. The waitress said the bar was out of some of the ingredients. That was kind of odd for Saturday brunch service. My wife and I were so impressed with the Spanish tapas, we will hunt for Spanish tapa restaurants in Houston.

I went twice recently and both times were great. The only cons: they add a service fee and they charge for outside cakes. Otherwise, everything is great here. The service is top notch. Most of the food is just amazing. The best items are croquetas (both ham and mushroom), tortilla espanola, and seafood paella. Happy hour is awesome, daily until 6pm!

Boqueria is a chill spot for post-work gatherings, with a cozy indoor lounge and small patio space right off the street. The ambiance strikes a balance between lively and intimate, making it ideal for winding down with a cocktail. The menu at Boqueria is a delightful Spanish fusion and shared plates moment, perfect for group dining. The happy hour prices for food and drink are good, and full menu dishes allow you to try a variety of options depending on your tastes. The mushroom croquettes hit a perfect balance, with just the right amount of truffle with the mushroom and fried outside. They're a definite crowd-pleaser! The Brussels sprouts were a typical but still good dish that'd be a reliable choice for your table. The vegetable eggplant dip was phenomenal; a little spiced and very fresh with perfectly toasted bread, I could've eaten a bowl as an entree. The drink menu at Boqueria is extensive including well-crafted sangria pitchers and margaritas at good happy hour prices especial lit for a group. Non-alcoholic options are also available, that weren't just mixed juice or just removing the main alcohol from your classic cocktails; they were refreshing and complexity for those opting out of alcohol. Service at Boqueria deserves applause as well. The staff found the balance of friendliness and attentiveness, ensuring our glasses were never empty and our conversations uninterrupted, except for polite check-ins to see if we needed more food or drinks. Overall, Boqueria is a gem for after-work gatherings or pre-party drinks , offering fantastic food, a great selection of drinks, and impeccable service in a nice, lounge-y atmosphere.

We stopped by Boqueria DuPont for an impromptu tapas Friday night! Fabulous small plates & delicioussssss sangria pitcher. GREAT vibes sitting on the outside patio in the spring! We loved the roasted eggplant spread (ESCALIVADA) so much that we ordered it twice! The mushroom croquettes were wonderful as well (COCA DE SETAS)!

A tapas style of restaurant. Overall good! Dishes met expectations. Super crowded tables, I felt like I had people eating on top of me. Likely wouldn't come back because it's too close together but the food was great! Service was excellent!

A perfectly romantic atmosphere for a group night or an evening to spend with your loved one. We did not make any reservation so we sat at the bar for 30 mins. Meanwhile, I ordered the blood orange sangria -- delicious drink to kill the time! My group of four ordered the 'Boqueria Experience' from the chef's menu, which cost $65 per person. It came with 10 dishes (assuming I counted correctly). I would write them all down, but that would take away the surprise. You can check out the photos yourself for a little sneak peak :) I will mention that it came with churros, the seafood paella, and the 36-month-aged Jamón Ibérico, which seemed to be the big difference between the classic and this. Loved the 36-month-aged, hand-carved Jamón Ibérico. It truly melted in your mouth. Rich in flavor, so it paired well with the toasted bread. Our tabletop was loose, so my friend actually fixed it himself. My group ate pretty fast, but besides the slightly longer wait times in between the dishes, service was great.

Boqueria is a consistent solid place for brunch. I've been coming here since I first moved to DC and I've never been disappointed. The setup inside is stylish with the bar In the center setting the tone. I came here this past weekend for brunch after not coming for a very long while. My friend and I got the unlimited sangria and each got a full plate. I got the huevos horneados, which the server recommended, and it was delicious! It's similar to shakshuka. The sauce was so flavorful and eggs were perfectly cooked. My friend got the arroz con salmon and she enjoyed it. We also got patatas bravas to share, which are a personal fave of mine here, and churros. All good. Overall, Boqueria is still a strong option in the DuPont area and it'll continue being a go-to brunch spot for me.
